Water: Avoid hard water. Use potable water such as tap or borewell.
Sunlight: This is a 100% outdoor plant, ensure a minimum of 5 hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight daily for best blooms.
Pot/Container: Use pots or containers that are at least 30 inches in diameter and 15 to 18 inches in height. Materials like fiber, plastic or concrete are preferable, as they retain some heat which these plants require.
Pest and Disease Control: Keep an eye out for common water lily pests like aphids or snails. These can be treated with appropriate organic or chemical controls, following manufacturer guidelines. Regularly inspect the leaves for signs of disease and take action as needed.
