For best results, plant in any top soil without cocopeat mix, clayey soil being most suitable. The Miami Rose thrives in potable water - tap or borewell water is perfect. Avoid hard water.

Ensure it receives a minimum of 5 hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight daily, as it's a 100% outdoor plant.

Use pots or containers of at least 24 inches in diameter and 15 to 18 inches in height, made of fiber, plastic, or concrete to retain the heat that it requires.

Keep an eye out for common water lily pests like aphids or snails. These can be treated with appropriate organic or chemical controls, following manufacturer guidelines. Regularly inspect the leaves for signs of disease and take action as needed.

In colder Indian regions, the Miami Rose may enter a period of dormancy during winter. Reduce watering and fertilization during this time.
