Ideal Conditions for the Sunfire in India:
This 100% outdoor plant requires at least 5 hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight. Any potable water, including tap water and borewell water, is suitable. Avoid hard water for optimal growth. For soil, use any top soil without cocopeat mix; clayey soil is most suitable. Detailed planting & care guidelines are included with the plant. Plant in a pot or container with a minimum diameter of 30 inches and a height of 15 to 18 inches. Fiber, plastic, or concrete containers are ideal as they retain some heat, which is beneficial for these plants.
Pest and Disease Control: Keep an eye out for common water lily pests like aphids or snails. These can be treated with appropriate organic or chemical controls, following manufacturer guidelines. Regularly inspect the leaves for signs of disease and take action as needed.
Winter Dormancy: In colder Indian regions, the Sunfire may enter a period of dormancy during winter. Reduce watering and fertilization during this time.
Pruning: Remove any dead or decaying leaves to maintain the plant's health and aesthetic appeal.
